About

Instead of choosing to merely exist, I urge you to experience life.
I urge you to live.

Here I Mum Again didn’t begin through choice, but has become a great decision. An exploration of life after children. It’s not just about being a Mum; I love my kids to the end of the earth but they are not my entire identity. I think that’s ok for us to say that and it isn’t said enough.

My pictures aren’t insta-perfect.
My writing is anything but professional.
But I put real heart, truth and honesty into everything I post. It’s all a bit of Pick & Mix because that’s who I am. Unrestricted and completely open. You’ll find relatable, helpful and hopefully, insightful content that will help you feel more like you again. Or even help you create the ‘you‘ that has always been lurking beneath the surface.

Meet Sam

I’m Sam. Rumble/Gravener/ Maybe Doyle (in the near-ish future perhaps 😉 ). I’m Mum to Freddie, George and Daphne. I currently live in a tiny house in Norwich with 5 other Humans, 2 cats and 2 dogs. Lets just say life is rather hectic. And cramped. DEFINITELY cramped.

I love beauty, fashion, cooking & baking, new experiences and pushing myself.

I’ve had so many ‘Identities’ over the years that I don’t think I’ve ever really known who I am exactly. And that is the joy with my blog. I get to explore all the things that take my fancy, whether it be travelling somewhere I’ve never been, baking that decedent cake I’ve been too afraid to try or taking a leap on something completely out of the box.

At the end of the day, I’ve spent the last 6 years being pregnant and tasing small ones. I’m at that point where enough is enough and I want to be ME again. I think a lot of women can relate to that and so, hopefully, you’ll find a piece of You here too!

Here’s what I know for sure:

  • I try to be kind and courageous. It takes more guts to be nice than it does to be nasty.
  • I love those around me. Even if they drive me nuts. And although I often have an urge to re-home some of them, I’d miss them too much.
  • I’m a 90s baby. I enjoyed the best of the 80s Music, the worst of the 90s fashion and the ugly of the New Tech & Social Media world.
